We rather talk about why we emphasized the ‘having guts’ thing in the film here. Because this tells you more about us than any number will ever do.

Our traineeships are a 12 to 24 months sprint from graduating to taking up a leading role. It's a year packed with classroom training, on the job training, coaching, growing, developing competences and proving yourself time and time again. Tough? Sure. But also very rewarding. And a perfect kickstart to your career.

Profile sought

  • Academic degree from one of the top Belgian or foreign universities, possibly complemented with a master, a PhD or an MBA
  • Outstanding academic results
  • Fluency in English as well as in either French or Dutch

A direct route to taking up a leadership role in our stores. You'll do everything from stacking cans of beans to working the register to planning work schedules and hiring new people. We promise to give you all the support you need to make your talents really shine.

MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PURCHASING

Being the smartass you are, you know it's in purchasing that we make the biggest difference. The next year, you'll learn how and why, so you can improve it further. After 365 days, you'll be making buying decisions on entire product categories.

Large turnovers, and small margins – that's retail in a nutshell. Being a finance trainee, you'll quickly learn how to influence these numbers by making big decisions and applying smart techniques. After all, we'll be counting on you to increase our profit.

MANAGEMENT TRAINEE REAL ESTATE

Supermarkets take up space. That space needs to be bought or rented, cleaned, maintained, ... A job for a specialist who knows what goes on inside these buildings. Someone who's worked there. You will have, during the first month or two of your trainee program. Right before we'll drop you in classrooms, take you to our headquarters and fill your head with valuable knowledge.
